Hi have a 04 zaphira diesel having trouble starting on cold mornings. Have changed glow plugs but still had problem. Also tried parking up or down hill but no diffrence. So i changed relay for glow plugs but still problem. Can anyone tell me what voltage i should have at end of glow plug lead when light on dash is on and off please. Or has anyone idea what problem could be ?

with ignition on, warning light on , you will have slightly less than battery voltage at lead which is usually present after w/light has gone out for a few seconds when voltage returns to zero.is engine turning over fast enough, is correct battery fitted,[the higher cca spec the better], is engine oil correct grade and not too thick,check engine earth connections are good and clean,make sure that fuel supply pipe isnt chaffed and drawing air,check hand primer also for drawing air,when was fuel filter last changed?
