knocking sound on de excelaration?

my peugeot 206 makes a knocking sound when de excelarating but slows when car slows.knocking seems to be from gear box area.knocking disapears when you dip clutch or chainging gear.

not sure on this model but if it has a dual mass flywheel then that could be your problem,also have a look at engine/g/box mounts
