you need to take the main lh engine case off(transmission cover)leaving the kickstart bolted to the shaft still ,remove all the 8mm headed bolts.then pull the belt together in the middle so it pulls into the rear pulley.then hold the crankshaft somehow and undo the nut on the end of the crank in the center of the variator (pulley nearest the front of the engine) use a special tool if you have one ,i use an air gun but i doubt you have access to one,then pull the belf of enough to give you access to the rest of the variator you will now be looking at a big spacer in the middle and a round variator face pull both of these off together with you hands they can be a bit stiff at the back is where the rollers are you will be able to see them but you may have to undo 3 screws to get to them on some models ,swap them for your light ones put a bit of grease on them too not too much though and put it all back together.i would recommend using a bit of loctite on the nut and the threaded part of the crank when you re assemble it though as the are prone to falling off and causing engine damage. ok good luck with it need more help just post the q for me !adam.
