Renault Clio rearlight short circuit?

Renault Clio 1.2 2001. When left indicator is on the left tail/brake light and high level brake light flash on and off instead of the indicator. Also when reverse light is on the left indicator glows dim.

sounds as if you have an earth problem,make sure all bulbs are making good contact in the light clusters and wiring connections are good also
