hi,
your proline uses a 2300 watt 4 element heater,
theres one T/stat mounted to the rear of the assembly,
the heater and the T/stat can be removed from the dryer as one unit,
if you are planning on repairing the dryer yourself you will need a multimeter to test the heating element and T/stat for open circuits.
With the meter set to the continuity setting test the element and T/stat,
Take a look on the T/stat for a small hole,
the hole is there to reset the T/stat,use a paper clip and gently push into the hole.
You should hear a click,
Give it a go,just remove the rear panel and you are in there.
you will notice one wiring conector and two other wires running off to another T/stat.
Don't worry about that stat it seldom fails,
but of course if all checks ok,then meter it,
its a very basic heating system so you shouldn't have any problems navigating and repairing it.
Just remember to pull the plug before you attempt the repair.
try www.espares.co.uk for the replacement parts if needed.
Hope this info helps
and good luck if you attempt the repair.
