my washer won't drain.i've tried the draincycle and both the short and long spin.

I have a Zanussi ZWF1211W Machine. The other day it stopped without draining. I had to manually drain it. The it kept thinking the door was locked so I removed the bit on the inside of the front panel that the door lock goes into and when I went to put it back in the bit inside had dropped down inside the machine. Now it will not screw back. I have tried to reset the machine by holding the start/pause button and the button next to it and clicking the dial one click at the time all the lights then flash in sequence all the way to end. When I then try and start the machine it goes to spinning and start/pause flashes I press start and it goes to washing then after a few seconds jumps straight to end. The end light flashes in a sequence of four flashes at a time??

remove the filter bottom right and clean.If you select drain and start machine can you hear a buzzing sound if you put your ear to the cabinet?.if so could be jammed/blocked/faulty pump.If no sound is heard then it could be a faulty pump or pcb or both
