Hi all, I've got a couple of annoying little faults on my peugeot 306 (1.4 Y Reg), which could be related but i'm not sure. First fault is with the indicators; they turn on but the bulbs don't flash, they just stay illuminated until i turn them off. However they do flash when i unlock the car!

The second fault is with the windscreen wipers. They turn on and off as told, but don't return to the start position automatically, they just stutter across the windscreen as if they are trying to find their home.

Any suggestions you guys have got will be truly appreciated before I have to part with any hard earned cash.

sounds like the flasher relay is faulty or a bad earth on body side, the lights flashing when you lock it is the alarm. the wiper motor comes out easily if you take it out and clean the rust of the rotor and oil the bearings and links they usually go a lot faster and smoother
