Well No Brain, why did you not suggest that course of action.
As it is we now know there are 2 devices on that zone.
So it could be any one.
OP you need to get a wire link and take out the existing wires from the zone. Then test the panel. If that works put ONE of the devices back and see what happens. If that works then the next. Until something stops working. And if this is actually the case, the zones need splitting anyway as it sounds like a zone that should be on instant is on an entry circuit.

No brain if you cannot help, take a hike.

Zone 1 is marked as Lounge PIR+kitchen door .The kitchen door can be ruled out as working but not very sure of the lounge PIR.
so if it is the faulty PIR .... what is the proceedure to replace the PIR .Thanks.

Why can`t he link out zone 1,

and see if he can arm the system,

that way he will know if the panels duff,or he has a wiring or monitoring device issue,.

He will will have to be instructed on the link procedure.

He may have a duff panel,

I've encountered this issue many times.

99 is a engineer command.
Zone 1 shows zone one open/in fault.
What is zone one (Probably the entry exit)

1234 is just a user code.

More info please.

The sequence of re setting the alarm doesn't appear to be in the manual- Should the front panel be opened /closed whilst dialing the code 99 ? any suggestions ?
thanks

Yes, read the manual correctly for a reset.
