water pump change for the W 1918?

The red light for the drain pump is lighting. I cleaned everything as described in the manual. I need to exchange the water pump (there is noise, but no activity). Where is the pump located, how can I reach it and how can I exchange the pump?

Make sure you unplug m/c before anything. Pump located under the drum. possibly easiest way to get to it, is put m/c on its side, If you put outlet pipe to the ground, water should free flow from drum, so some shallow bowl or similar will catch water. some water will come out, I usually put a lot of dust sheets old sheets etc down to soak water up. under drum, pump unit will be about 3-4 inches in size, connected to pipework, 2 wires. If you have a filter on the front of m/c, it will be connected to that, and to the outlet pipe to the back. strip it all out clean it. do not get water on pump motor, as you can hear it running pump motor is ok, could be something jamming/blocking inside, before or after pump. Or could be jammed/damaged impellers in the pump. error usually means that m/c could not pump out sufficiently in a set time period. You may not need to replace it, but will be obvious once you see it
