never use the aircon on my 2001 scenic, can i bypass noisey bearing ?

hi my 2001 1600 scenic has a noiesy aircon pump, can i by pass the pump useing a 1600 non aircon auxhillery belt, i never ever use the aircon anyway, would really appreciate help on this,
