Hi,

I'm having a problem with the interior light on my car. It has 3 settings, 'on', 'off' and 'automatic' (the middle of the 3 settings - should make the interior car light come on when a door is opened) and I am able to use the manual on/off settings just fine. However, when in the middle setting the light doesn't come on when I open a door...is there anything I can do about this?

Any help would be very gratefully received!!

sounds like the doorswitch theres one on each front door and they work the interior light. it may clean or you will a new one for drivers door at least try the passener door see if that works

suspect door pillar switch not working usually caused by dirty contacts may need a switch from breakers yard
