Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 2002 -won't start?

Fitted a camshaft positioning sensor, had the engine management light turned off by computer, went to start the car after 15 minutes. The car seemed to stall but now seems as though it doesn't have compression. Have checked valve timing etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
