boot?

hi my boot opens randomly if it hits a bump in the road or even on the shutting of doors, but i can never open it to put shopping and bits in, does anyone elses's do this' i took it to vauxhall they took 2 mins and said whole new mechinism at the grand price of 120 i said no thanks lol

You can get a mechanism from a salvage yard no problem. And a hellava lot cheaper!!
