how to repair a jammed memory drum in singer 155?

machine worked perfectly well before but has had no use for 12 months nothing stored on top of the bed. Have found that the the left hand side memory drum will rotate only under force.No yarn is entangled, have tried oil but to no avail . machine is a singer chunky knitter model 155

On the standard machines you have to turn the tention dial way tighter than "0" rather than past "10" on the knitmaster 155 then you need to unscrew the handle, there is a screw on either side of it. and really you should be able to follow that video from there it is pretty much the same. I have a knitmaster 326 and when I first got it one of the drums was really ceased up and all I did was coat just in the middle of were the memmory drum meats the other part that is positioned underneath the carriage, were the scew is that holds them both together, coat this with lots of WD-40 (do this over a sink) and it will free them, so don't be stingy with the oil if it is really bad, they will free with enough lubricant, in adition to this put the carriage on the needle bed and run it up and down the bed a few times and this will help them loosen.

I am sorry if you found this hard to understand it was hard to explain lol, hope this helps.
