my car key has stopped working the central locking?
hi, my car key has stopped working the central locking on a 2003 vauxhall meriva i have changed the batteries and cleaned the contacts yet still nothing, any help is grateful

STOP!!
Your key probably just needs re-synced. Turn ignition on (dash lights on, don't start engine), push button on keyfob, doors should lock then unlock, job done.
By the way,the radio code is NOT the three numbers on the key

Try disconnecting the car battery for 3 minutes, then connect it again. Dont forget to make sure you know the radio code before disconnecting the battery as it will require it.
