Please can you tell me the battery type that i need for the Gardtec 500 intruder alarm, Thanks.

Depends what was fitted, What exact 500 series it is.
More info needed, a serial number or take a look inside and see the markings on the panel.

Remember there is mains present and should be isolated before any works commence.
