AEG Favorit 40850 fails to complete a wash cycle?

I put my machine on- have tried the 30 minute cycle- and it starts ok-normal sound- but the wash stops within 2 minutes. When machine is opened, there is a small amount of cold water in the base of the machine? Can anyone help please? Thanks

is it the wash cycle that stop or 2 min after machine is started beginning of cycle.if it stop within 2 min when machine is started it could be the main spray pump but if it start the wash and then stop it could be a heating problem
