part p?

Is or would the following be covered under Part P regs?. Currently have to run extension through window.
Want to:
Remove the 13amp plug on the extension which has an external 13amp single sockt (Wickes)made up by electrician friend who is no loger with us.
Drill hole through wall to outside of bungalow feed tubing in to hole to protect the cable. Secure the 13amp socket on the outside wall and re-fit the 13amp plug. Power up via mobile MCB so things like mowers can be used on the socket outside rather than on a cable trailing through open window.
How does this fair with Part P and home owners not able to do elecs even changing existing.
Thanks in anticipation.

It's outside and so covered by Part P. At some point a Part P professional will be needed - to do it or check it.

Yes you're right, and i've said this myself, and normally do on here with other questions asked but when incapacitated and in Isolation, it proves very difficult to get to PC and I've no laptop and the wife hates computers. Thanks anyway, better now?

then all you need to do is plug your extension lead into it,and walla, your set to go,your fully protected by the rccd socket if you cut a cable, hope this helps, and regs are satisfied

why just not fit a rcd waterproof socket to outside wall,?and no,a flexi cable not good for outside socket,
if there is a socket on the wall facing your garden, then just turn power off, remove the face plate, carefully drill through the back box, knock out one of the blanking pieces at rear of back box,run a bit of 2.5 cable to the new socket, take it into the socket back box from underneath fit a gland, there will be a blank plate under the back box,it will be round to fit the gland, wire up the socket, dont forget earth wire, put the yellow and green sleeve on it,now screw the face plate on the outside back box,(4screws)
then connect the cables into the face plate in the socket in you home, red to red,or brown to brown, black to black,or blue to bule, depending on how old your wiring is,your new cable will be brown and blue, brown live, blue neutral ,
