The dryer in my Miele Novotronic Washer Dryer WT 946 is not heating up?

The dryer in my Miele Novotronic Washer Dryer WT 946 is not heating up but otherwise the dryer works as normal. I have cleaned the filter and drained the machine from below to ensure there is no water left in the system. Any help greatly appreciated please.

There is a small, red, square reset switch on the dryer's heat-bank thermistor.

This is a small, (black) circular component with 2 electrical connections running to it, accessible only by unscrewing the top lid off the washer-dryer.

If it trips just the once, you'll likely be fine; if it goes again, the heat-bank assembly is probably stuffed full of a cardboard-like 'fluff' causing it to overheat. Like, me, it's difficult to 'fix' and may well need replacing (as with all-things-Miele, this is v. expensive).

Let me know if you need anything further.
