when driving the astra on streets and then hit a bump it sounds like the under carage rattles so much,ive looked under and tried to bang on a few areas and havnt been able to find why its so noisey both front and back???
If it is a light metallic rattle check the exhaust heatshields.

you will have to jack up veh and use stands,check for broken springs,a/roll bar links and mountings,steering joints,lower arm bushes and balljoints,exhaust mounts.
