I have just purchased this from my friend hardly used,when I try to cut even 1/4" thick it tracks to the left and stops without any pressure on it,the blade is sharp.
Also where can I buy spare plastic blade guides and a spare blade,looked on net went round in circles.

I made blade guide blocks from 5mm square mahogany strip, sourced from a model boat supply shop.

So far this seems to be a good fix, although I've not tested how long the blocks will last. The wood is hard enough to take the fixing bolts and will probably 'self-seal' by charring - - -
