I recently bought a cheap Skyjet SJ125-23 cheap and it has no springs on the side stand. I bought a replacement from ebay (the guy said it was the right one) but it doesnt do the job. It holds the stand up but when I push it down it doesnt lock in place. It constantly tries to spring back up. any idea how I'm supposed to sort this out? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

how it works hold side stand down with foot. lean scooter/bike on side till bike will stand up itself. when you lift bike up straight. stand will automatically lift up. that is how they are made now(safety feature)
