hi there,
i have vaillant ecotec pro 28 combi boiler, its diverter valve is leaks when we turn the hot water taps on and cos of leaking water pressure keeps droping and i have to fill it up some time twice a day to keep the pressure maintained. I decided to replace it so can someone please help me and describe how can i change this leaker diverter valve and put the new one in( i bought one the same). many thanks

nightmare job impossible to hold o rings in place after much sweat and swearing had to superglue them to diverter valve before fitting

Drain system,switch power off,shut main water supply to boiler undo four stud or screw bolt ,undo screw holding pump,it's under the the pump,undo return Cooper 22mm pipe,easy to pull out diverter valve,pull out long clip holding to pump than pull out diverter from pump,it will bit tight ,when replacing new one change all ORings and washer on hot water heat exchanger,apply light fairy liquid when assembly with pump,when in place special washer is tight fit on heat exchanger,tool you need is star type long key to fit bolt,
