hi i have a 51 plate 1.2 clio i had starting problems but now it starts fine but it wont rev over 3000 please can any1 help

When was it last serviced & who by? Could be running too rich - check the air filter and renew it if it is filthy. In fact if it is overdue for a service, renew the oil and oil filter too.
