how do i stop my saxo from reving up on its own?

yes can any one tell me the problem with my saxo ,it keeps reving up on its own usualy when im driving through town or at the lights. need to turn of to make it stop, very anoying, please help. regards nick/ saxo furio year 2000 1.4cc

Hey mate, I too have a saxo and have experienced this problem twice, first time I had to replace the idle valve, second time had to have a fuel flush as they said it could be a slight blockage. Good luck!!!!
