the front of my car seems to be unable to cushion any drop in a depression?

the mechanic said it is not the shocks nor the suspension. It may be the calipher .... do you agree or can you advise

sorry to but in but a girl in our road add the same problem you cant see till you take strut off some of the spring on top broke off put new springs on put a smile on her face luck

Do you have big wheels on it with low profile tyres? If so a change of wheels to smaller diameter rims and higher profile tyres may well help.

Brake calipers won't have anything to do with it.

would have another look at your struts,any leaks? sometimes they look ok and when you get the spring off there is no resistance whatsoever,don`t know what calipers have to do with it?have you tried bouncing it with your weight on each corner for a quick test?
