I have a Tricity/Bendix TT160c refrigerator the motor no longer kicks in which leaves me to believe the thermostat is faulty anyone know its location and how to replace it please

I have just bought second hand a hoover fridge freezer auto defrost and my fridge is freezing up, I have been reading alot of report sthat it could be my thermostat, I have tried different settings and it is still freezing on number 1. Would be expensive to get someone in to change it for me? and who do I ask to do this, a electrician or a fridge techinicain?

How do you know if it is your thermostat? I still have power (the light comes on) but no refrigeration on a TB 59 L. ANd also there is no response on a search on ebay for universal fridge/freezer repair kit

I just replaced a thermostat on my SERVIS fridge freezer.
The thermostat is a small box behind the knob with numbers on the side usually near the inside light. You need a 'Capillary Thermostat' which has a sealed tube of alcohol that senses/controls temperature.
I bought a 'UNIVERSAL FRIDGE/FREEEZER REPAIR KIT' OF EBAY FOR JUST £9 (INC. POSTAGE)
IT WORKS ON 90% OF ALL FRIDGES!!!
