check your fuses first before you take anything apart

They can seize through lack of use. Take off the arm and the plastic cover so that you can get to the spindle and lubricate it with penetrating oil. There are "how to" videos on YouTube. Search for them - easy to find.

If you tried to use it with heavy snow on it, it could have blown a fuse. Could even have burnt out the motor - but unlikely.
