Dishwasher lights are not working?

I have the Kenmore elite dishwasher. The clean light blinked 7 times. I went through the steps to determine it was the heater element.
I replaced my heater element and turned the power back on from the breaker box. Now, the lights are not coming on and therefore, the dishwashing is not working. Can you provide me with a troubleshooting steps to determine the problem?

Did you actually check element first to make sure it had failed or did you just go buy a new one & fit it just on the random chance that it may fix the problem? If no lights problem started after fitting the element then it must of been caused by something you did. Plug something else in to the power socket to make sure it is working. If not then go check the fuse. If socket works ok then either you have left a wire off or dislodged a wire somewhere or have damaged the circuit board by shorting something out.

check socket outlet with a known working item
check fuse
check power to on/off switch
check power to pcb
