How do I access skylight on caravan roof?

The skylight on my caravan leaks when it rains. How do I fix it? Is it safe to get on the roof?

don't go on the roof without crawling boards.you can fit them from inside without going on roof but you will need to replace mastic seal.if you go on the roof you can just reseal it in situ which is easier and quicker solution
