Hi,

I have just moved into a new house and have been given a slightly bashed but useable Whirlpool AWM1403 washing machine as a temporary measure. I notice it has both a hot and cold fill inlet but my house only has a cold fill pipe for washing machines to use.

Can I still install the washing machine? Will it still heat the water? and finally how do I install it given both the hot and cold fill inlets on the washing machine?

go to your plumbing supplier and ask for a Y piece for plumbing up your washer, this enables you to connect two hoses from one cold supply.
