how can i fix my nissan micra shape 1997?

my 1997 r reg nissan micra is not sarting. the engine management light is flashing. the engine is turning over but not starting

Here is one possible solution, get your key checked out because the chip in it may be faulty. This was the problem with my micra which had the same problem. A good locksmith will do it for you.
