Farbric conditioner is not being taken?

The fabric conditioner is not being taken during the cycle. Something is obviously blocked. I have washed the detachable unit through but it is still blocked.

Hello Jane.
This worked for me:
Make sure the machine is switched off !
Remove the detachable unit.
Look inside the exposed compartment for the water inlet on the fabric conditioner side.
Using a piece of bent wire or similar ( I used a bent knitting needle) very carefully clean out the hole.
Good luck.

Hi Jane

There are 3 things that stop the fabric conditioner.
You have correctly identified that it could be a blockage.
2. One of the cold water inlet solenoid valves may be open circuit. This can be tested with a multimeter.
3. The plastic mechanical diverter on top of the soap dispensere may have become unlinked. This can be checked by turning off the power for safety reasons then removing the top cover of the washing machine and inspecting the movement of the plastic diverters on the soap dish.
Hope this helps.
