My hotpoint washing machine has stopped?

My washing machine WML560 was doing a wash, i stopped it to add another garment, but it would not continue. It now sits doing nothing, then it makes all the right noises and empties, ALL LIGHTS FLASHING. Then ends and clicks like it would for end of wash. Any advice please?
