How to fix a Neff 1661 oven problem?

My Neff 1661 does not reach the temperature that I set on the front. If I set 170 degrees and place an oven thermometer inside the oven, the thermometer registers 150. The Elements in the oven work ok so what else could cause this.

If fan running ok it could be the temperature sensor faulty (situated in rear wall of oven accessible by removing back of oven it is a bullet shaped thing down a tube two very small wires coming off it )

Hi - Why do I need to put a thermometer in the oven for 1 hour. Shouldn't the oven be at 200 deg as soon at temp light goes out and shouldn't the thermometer read this temeperature within 10-15mins

Poss fan faulty. Check fan behind back panel is running and getting up to speed.

select 200 deg c on your oven
put thermometer in oven for 1hr and then read temp
if it is still low you could have a stat/temp sensor issue issue
