Brother KR 930 ribber lubricant?

I have just stripped down a Brother ribber completely and some of the lubricant was hard and discoloured so I have c leaned it off. What can I use to replace it please

try a soft lubricant like petroluem jelly also called vaseline,or a pink rubber grease
