How can i fix my mikomi webcam?

My webcam wont work at all. When I ask for an image e.g on windows movie maker, msn or just taking pictures it's just plain black. I have bought three of the same types and they all have not been working when I bought them. When I try to capture a video on windows movie maker it just says not responding and dont work at all. When i go to a program called AMCAP it just says Error code:00000 and then closes. I really need your help. Thanks guys!

My amcap webcam sometimes would not work when I started it up, it would freeze, the only way I could get it to work after it had froze was to reboot, however I tried reconnectinng the webcam after a freeze but windows said it could not recognise the usb device which was odd.
Anyway I stuck it in a different usb port and I was recognised adn indeed the cam worked again (not froze).
So I will try swopping ports in future, a lot faster and more convienient than a reboot.

I have been searching for some answers for this problem, relating to the Amcap.exe and my webcam.
I have come to this conclusion:
With the first instance of the webcam being plugged in and started, all is fine, video works, capture works, etc.
But,,,,,if I disconnect the webcam, and maybe later on reconnect the webcam, the Amcap program freezes (not responding). The only way to unfreeze, is to Ctrl-Alt-Del, to open Task Manager and try to stop program there.
Task Manager, show 2 instances of Amcap (not responding).

So my theory is:
Amcap has not been released from Windows or memory, and the 2nd starting of the program, causes it to freeze up.

Solution:
Before starting 2nd webcam session, or before reconnecting webcam, reboot computer (this will release this Amcap from memory or system), and the webcam will work properly for that session.
Other than that, I have no idea what else causes the freezing
