Can I repair the top oven glass door on my Electrolux cooker model DDO60C?

I was cleaning the inside of the glass door on the top oven of my Electrolux DDO60CE cooker having successfully done the lower one. I located the door lugs in the bottom of the door frame but while fitting the two retaining screws into the top of the door it slipped from my grasp and although I caught it both the locating lugs fitted to the inside of the door near the bottom snapped off. The lugs are fitted on a square block which is silicon glued direct to the glass of the door. Can these be replaced or would I have to get a new outer door glass?

They silicon 2 plastic brackets on to the glass.they have 2 lugs on the bottom which locate in the the inner boor frame.Electrolux then replaced the plastic brackets with metal ones which where also stuck to the glass

I cannot visualise what you are trying to explain. I have never seen any oven door where door lugs or hinges are siliconed directly on to the glass. Think your best bet would be to locate a parts supplier for Electrolux near where you live and take the door down to show them.

you could drill small hole in to plastic where lugs where and use a self tap screw or replace outer door glass as you say
