I have an oil leak com ing from what looks like a cap on the top of my nissan serena 2.3D occasion engine? How do I fix it and what is the cap?

HI MAKE SURE THE RUBBER RING IS IN THE CAP,AS IT CAN FALL OFF AND GET LOST WHEN YOU TOP UP THE OIL.
