repair gas in the oil?

i found gas in craftsman 46in.dls3500 mixed in oil,what is the cause,and how to fix it.is it possible to use as is ,mower still runs,

DO NOT USE ! your fuel float on carb has got stuck open draining fuel into your engine and mixing with your oil remove the bottom of the carb clean out and re fi. you may need to replace the float and needle.
drain your oil and re fill if you have an oil filter change that also
