Siemens RDJ1ORF wi-fi central heating control?

I used the slide bar yesterday( Sat 21 April ) outside the 2 on/off heating periods and moved it to the 'SUN' icon position to override the settings and get heating on. It worked. This morning, I did the same and it didn't. What am I not doing?

when on the sun icon you set the temperature yourself when you tried it again the temperature on the receiver might have been lower than the actual room temperature and so wouldn"t have worked!
