Will full power down of Tunstall TS500 restore factory defaults, please?

I have received a very helpful response to my question on how to lengthen the entry time on a Tunstall TS500 - many thanks. The alarm installer is unwilling to tell me what he changed the default engineer-code to, and I am not competent enough to load factory defaults as outlined in the installation guide. If I switch the alarm off at the mains, then leave it unset until the battery has run down, will it eventually automatically reset to factory defaults, please? (Presumably the battery would recharge when the alarm was powered back on?) Thank you.

Read the book and then tell him to FO. You are allowed to ask for the engineers code, but you may not have a service contract after.
For this system it is old now and you should be given the code as you are paying for it.
Final answer pay him get the code changed to one you want and sod him off.
Get the manual and learn yourself.

Even if you removed mains power and disconnected the battery and grew a beard, she wouldn't revert to factory settings.

As gts has said he`s got ya,

this happeneds all the time, when we install or take over a system we change all defaults, and set tampers on engineering,

that way you either have to contact us, or pay for someone else to restore/reprogramme.
you are lucky with your panel as it will factory restore if you follow the manual to the letter,

as you aren't confident in the procedure, you have no choice in paying the man,or finding another engineer.
I can tell you that me personally, I will give the engineering code to the owner if he is present, and requests it.
