it is a Corsa club semi auto and has a flashing F i can start the car but it will not select any gear??? I have asked a mobile mechanic to come out a put it on a fault finder.he said he thinks it will be somthing to do with the trip tronics?? and quoted me £900 to £1000 without looking, i said i wanted the test and He has yet to appear. has any one got any ideas?

Could be something as simple as the crankshaft sensor. If so they are cheap enough to replace.
