Is it a gear or clutch issue on transit t280?

Hi folks I've an 03 swb fwd t280, was just driving round a corner changed gear to find they had all disappeared not hard to get in - just not there any more can swing the stick about like a spoon in a pot with or without clutch. The 2 cables are still attached at both ends r moving freely and moving up/down and from side to side under the bonnet. Recently had fly wheel/ clutch done (heard that was also something to do with gear box?) any ideas what the problem is?

could be selector yoke on gearbox, they are usually held in by a pinch bolt or a grub screw that may be broken/loose.

If you see movement on the selector shafts at top end of g/box then you could try removing the top cover of the g/box for a look and have a good look at the selector mechanism which comes out as a unit when removed.Think there are six 10mm bolts holding it on and remove the two selector cables also.when removed check there are no securing bolts/roll pins broken and also check the needle roller bearing under the selector shaft seal for seizure/smooth operation.good luck
