NEFF oven fan clicking?

The oven fan in my neff double oven clicks quite loudly when the oven is shut down and fan is slowing down. I removed the back cover and there is a slight play on the bearing but I wondered if I just need to take the fan off and try straightening it a bit. Its ok on stary up as it has enough rigidity to spin smoothly its only on switch off it clicks against the top of the frame

Forgot to say dont bend or straighten fan blade each blade is dynamicly balanced for its own motor any alteration will cause excessive vibration . cheers

This is usually caused by the element being distorted, remove back panel and check if element is out of shape and catching fan blade. Could also be a hard grease deposit on back of backplate catching fan blade. If oven is double built under the counter the element is half round shape, on this oven the top screw holding the element behind the fan blade can come loose and catch the fan. Endfloat on the fan shaft is not a prob. NOTE if removing fan blade its nut is LEFT HAND THREAD! Cheers
