DSC 1500 Alarm?

hi all,my husband and I have moved into our new apartment with the above alarm,we cannot obtain the code to use the system,.

The user manual is there along with the details to enter programs/programming,
but no mention of how to reset codes etc.

Can anyone advise us how to get the system operational please, there's no installer details or any cell nos left here.

Alarm,I have been pushing these contracts under new and existing employees noses for over 30 years now,I kid you not.

you know as well as I do,we don't know what they get up to in, or indeed out of office hours.

I have been down the unfair dismissal route many times, the contract is a legal and binding document, and does justify our actions as employers.

Its not as if we don't look after our own,

Had one guy posting our Aunty code and reset methods on utube, never heard of this website untill it was brought to my attention,

had a well educated polish man caught up a ladder fitting one of our own cisco sounders whilst on his lunch break, and pocketing the proceeds,.

we look after our guys, but greed is a temptation and will always lead to that individuals demise.Call me paranoid,it happends and always will,.

Rant over.

Defaulting and reset methods are will documented on the net,so if we don't give them, then a little research will prevail,.

I do understand that we must not help the bad guys :).

Damn, feel a pup with 30 yrs working and a few more playing with electronics.

No offence intended, but a few fools here and on other sites do give out defaulting.
I think in private messages so they can charge, which is not the point here. We assist and then advise of they need professional assistance.
If I caught one of my lads giving away defaulting information they would have a sore head and sod the courts as they would be in breech of contract.

40 years xp,you clearly know your stuff,

I can still remember my first install,a A&G diplomat,.

No fancy LEDs on that one, only bulbs.

God I feel old :)

e manno,i know that you are new to this site,i have almost 40 years in this trade,as does alarm guy, acorn, some, not so much, we do our best to give good advice, people do not listen at times,we seldome get a thank you, but, hey, thats how things are,you have not offended me in any way,and we all know the bad guys can buy a panel and get the engineering book with it,but,we dont help them if its possible ,so ,i hope that you will continue to contribute to this site, regards, gts

The majority of these TYCO panel s won`t default this way,.

Most will need a hardware default ( entirely different process),this info I will not give out especially on a open forum.

Iam expecting janice to get back to us with the possibility of a failure.

If so,I was going to suggest getting a engineer in.

Who would trust any system that would default this way, but the minority of these will.

As for my own security....
all I can say is nobody can enter my grounds without me being alerted from anywhere.

Iam new to this site and don't wish to offered you or the other guys on here, but if I have please accept my apolls,:(

Then let all your mates know e manno has left all the users of this system liable to be broken into.

Sniggerly, A burgular

Really some should shut the fuc up on here

Are you in ?

software implementations are possible on that system, and the master may not default.

meaning..... it will resort to factory, but will need the Aunty code ,

software changes, can and have been programmed in some cases dependent on installer.

Let us and others know if you are successful.

1
Press *8-1500 or *8-1550 on the keypad to enter programming mode. If the system does not beep, the panel needs a hard reset to clear all of the previously programmed codes.
2
Disconnect all power to do a hard reset of the system. This will reset all of the previously programmed codes, including the master code.
3
Leave all of the power disconnected for at least ten seconds.
4
Turn the power back on after 10 seconds. Once the system has been reset, all of the default values will be restored. The master code will also be reset to 1234.
5
Press 1234 and enter. This will allow you to enter the programming mode under the reset master installer code. Once you have done this, you may reprogram the codes as necessary.

That's the bit missing from the manual,as it is considered a little sensitive however this info could have been easily found by yourself if you had searched the net.
