there is a marker on the dip stick , on the cap were you put the oil in , that is marked ,, MAX.. MIN, when you are filling the mower with oil, wipe the dip stick with a old rag , and put it back into the oil tank, take it back out and you will see how much oil is in there, olny do this when the mower is cold, as the oil will get hot, dont worry about too much oil in the mower this time , it will burn off, after a wile, ps look up utube, on how to do this,
