I have just bought my daughter a ford ka 2000 and when she turns on the heater to hot there is a gassy smell. A freind has looked at the car and said the coolant is leaking and thinks it may be the heater matrix. Could it be the heater control valve that is leaking or does it leak??
Any advic e please

a matrix do leak you could try k seal very good put in header tank let it run for an hour or 2 should stop luck
