My Hotpoint TDC60 is making a clicking/whirring noise-is this bad?

My Hotpoint TDC60 Ultima Condenser Dryer is making a Clicking/whirring noise but only part way through a drying cycle-not all the time. This has only just started happening and I would like to know if this is a bad thing and if so how serious?
