hi all,transit van has started an alternating whine in 1st gear.it has 150,000 miles on it.Of which i have done 10,000. Any ideas thanks.

you could try dropping centre bearings and give them a spin and listen for roughness,do you have a rumble/knocking with engine ticking over and disappears with foot on clutch?could be dual mass flywheel playing up,just a couple of things to check
